Abstract : THE IMPACT OF CULTURAL FIT IN RECRUITMENT DECISIONS
This study examines the impact of cultural fit in recruitment decisions, focusing on its effects on employee performance, job satisfaction, and overall organizational culture. A survey design is employed due to its effectiveness in collecting data from a diverse population. A sample size of 320 respondents is derived using Taro Yamane's formula to ensure representativeness. The case study is conducted in Kano, targeting a hospitality company known for its emphasis on cultural fit in recruitment. The reliability coefficient score of 0.86 indicates high reliability. Findings suggest that cultural fit significantly enhances employee performance and job satisfaction, contributing to a positive organizational culture. Recommendations include prioritizing cultural fit in recruitment decisions and regularly assessing the alignment between employees and organizational culture.
